About

If you happen to be making the journey to South Africa and want to make your stay into a holiday this is what we would recommend.

Cape Town - Camps Bay

When you first arrive in South African Cape town you are probably going to want to have a few days to relax and get use to the city. Cape town is great for 3 - 4 days to visit, with amazing restaurants and things to do.

Explore the waterfront, Table Mountain, Lion Head and you must check out some of the beaches. The places to stay are Camps Bay and there are lots of options on Airbnb for you to choose from.

Ideally you would arrive for the Sunday 23rd November / Monday 24th November and book a airbnb or hotel for 3 / 4 nights.

Franschhoek - The Wedding

This is the location of the wedding so we would recommend arriving around this neck of the woods for Thursday the 27th or Friday the 28th and stay here for 2 / 3 nights depending on how you wanted to plan your stay. Franschhoek is wine country region so if you wanted to explore some world famous wine estates this is where you want to be. Remember we have a big wedding on the Saturday and BBQ party on the Sunday!

After the wedding

South Africa is home to some of the best safaris in the world, you can travel to a great safari after the wedding to complete your holiday or explore more of South Africa. If you see our Things to do in SA this can give you some more ideas of what this beautiful country has on offer.

There is also the garden route - you can allow 5 - 7 days for this.
